For many breast cancer survivors, the last step in breast reconstruction is the application of a nipple and areola tattoo, a significant milestone. Thankfully, this final procedure can simply be done  in our office by our professionally trained Tattoo Artists.  The procedure is appropriate for women after their second stage implant reconstruction has healed and the breasts have settled into their natural position, usually 12 months after their last surgical procedure.  

Women who have had bilateral mastectomies will find this procedure to be the finishing touch to their reconstruction journey.  If you are matching a new nipple to an existing breast, various shades and pigments can be mixed to get the closest match. Feel like yourself again.
